Bizer Brand Ambassadors are connectors. They put real entrepreneurs in front of classrooms, bring local owners together, and make sure the stories of the businesses that build a town get told. You run it like your own business, on your own schedule.

Where we're looking for ambassadors

Your first project: help make the first Here's to the Small Ones films

Here's to the Small Ones is a new film series from Bizer: one short film for each town, made with real owners, not actors, and a page that features every business in it. No film has been made yet. Ambassadors will help make the first ones, starting in their own towns.

1. Find the owners. The plumbers, roofers, shop owners and builders the film is about, through your network and the town's nominations.
2. Gather their stories. Who they are, what they do, and what they give back: the teams they sponsor, the first jobs they give, the fundraisers.
3. Line up the film. Get owners on board and help plan the shoot days with the film crew.
4. Bring the town in. Nominations, the premiere, the chamber, the schools and local media.

A note from our founder

Small businesses are the biggest force in every community I know. They sponsor the jerseys, hire the neighbor's kid, and keep Main Street open. Most of them never get their story told, and most students never get to meet one.

I want to change that, starting here at home. I'm looking for one person in each of our four areas who knows everybody, loves bringing people together, and wants to build something of their own. You'll put real entrepreneurs in front of classrooms, connect owners who should know each other, and help us make the first Here's to the Small Ones films.

You connect the people who should meet

• Entrepreneurs in schools. A teacher wants a real founder for class. You find the right one and set it up, from lemonade stand day to a college lecture.
• Talks around town. Libraries, chambers, youth programs and civic clubs that want a local owner to share how they did it.
• Introductions. Put owners in touch with each other, and with local help like the SBDC, lenders and mentors.
• Stories worth telling. Bring forward the entrepreneurs your town should hear about, with their OK, so their stories get told.

Bounty pay. No hourly pay, no quotas.

Every task has a posted bounty. Pick the ones you want, do them your way, and get paid for each one that's confirmed. See bounty pay.

Questions

Do I have to speak in front of classes?

Usually not. You line up the entrepreneur who speaks. Introducing them or hosting is a plus, not a requirement.

Is this a job?

No. Ambassadors are independent contractors. You choose which tasks to take on and get bounty pay for each one that's confirmed. There are no set hours.

How does bounty pay work?

Each task has a posted bounty, and it counts once the other side confirms it, for example the teacher whose class had the speaker. Everything confirmed in a month is paid together.

Do I own my ambassador Page?

Yes. You create and run it. You may use the Bizer name and logo under a brand use agreement while you're a contracted ambassador. If the contract ends, the Bizer name and logo come off the Page within 30 days.

Do I have to say I'm paid?

Yes, on any post Bizer pays a bounty for. On Facebook and Instagram you use the Paid partnership label with Bizer tagged.

What about schools and kids?

Every school sets its own rules for visitors and photos, and ambassadors and speakers follow them. No student is shown in a post without the school's approval and a parent's consent.

I'm not in one of these areas. Can I apply?

Yes. We're starting in Houma, Thibodaux, St. Mary Parish and South Lafourche, and we'll reach out when we open your area.
