So you are interested in starting your identity online by purchasing a domain name for yourself or your business? That is GREAT! Well I am going to help you get your domain name for a cheap price. There is two ways that you can do this. One way is to purchase the domain name alone. The other way is to bundle your domain name with web hosting. I am going to give you steps for you to do either one.
Purchase Domain and Bundle Up
Step 1) Visit www.GoDaddy.com
Step 2) Search for your domain name. Remember, shorter is better.
Step 3) Click on “Add and Proceed to Checkout”. Here you will be given the option to purchase hosting. If you purchase hosting for at least 1year, your domain for the first year will be $1.99. You will have the option to select 1 to 5 years. Here you can also click on the check-box that says “Economy $4.74/mo. Scroll down and click on “Continue”
Step 4) Register to Godaddy.
Step 5) At checkout, enter one of the following codes before checking out. (P.S. Some of these my be expired)
OYH7 – $2.50 off / $7.49 any .COM (renewals too… just used it)
BTPS7 – 20% any order of $50 or more
slam30 – 30% off .COMs and renewals
