Files & Documents

One tidy place for your business's documents — and Miles can actually read them.

Your important documents are probably scattered across your phone, your email, and a drawer somewhere — which means when you need the contract or the receipt, you're hunting. Files gives your business one tidy home for documents, organized into folders you control. The bonus: Miles can read what's in there, so “what did that invoice say?” becomes a question you can just ask.

It works like the file drawer you already picture — folders, uploads, a trash you can undo — but with an assistant who's read everything filed in it.

How it works

  1. Make folders and add files. Create folders, then upload files (drag a bunch in at once), or paste text straight into a new file. A breadcrumb trail keeps you from getting lost.
  2. Keep it organized. Rename, move, and tidy as you go. Deleted something by mistake? It goes to Trash, so you can get it back.
  3. Miles reads your documents. Ask Miles about a file and he can open it — pulling the text out of notes, PDFs, spreadsheets, and CSVs to answer, or handing you a download link for other types. He can also pull a file into a chat when it's useful.
  4. Share when you need to. As the owner, you can share a file with a private link — handy for sending a customer a document without email attachments.

What it helps you do

  • Stop hunting — every contract, receipt, and document in one findable place.
  • Ask your documents questions instead of reading through them yourself.
  • Undo mistakes with a Trash that holds deleted files.
  • Hand off a document with a simple share link.

Questions business owners ask

Is there a size limit? Yes — up to 100 MB per file. That covers the documents, photos, and scans most owners keep; it just won't take giant video files.

Can Miles really read my files? Yes, for text-based ones — notes, PDFs, spreadsheets, CSVs — he can read the contents and answer from them. For other file types (say, an image) he'll give you the file itself rather than pretend to read it.

Can my team mess with my files? Members can add files and manage the ones they created, but only you, the owner, can delete or share. Your documents are safe from accidental cleanup.

Is this the same as Google Drive? No — Files is Bizer's own built-in storage, so it works with no setup. Google Drive is a separate thing you can connect if you want Miles to search there too; the two are independent.

Are my files private? Yes. They live in your business workspace, for you and your team. A file only becomes viewable by someone else if *you* create a share link for it.
