Notebook
Jot down what you read, hear, or learn — and Miles remembers it for you.
You hear a great idea on a podcast, a tip from another owner, a number worth remembering — and a week later it's gone. Notebook is where you catch those things before they slip away. Jot down what you read, hear, or learn, and it doesn't just sit there: it becomes part of what Miles knows, so he can bring it back exactly when it matters.
Think of it as your commonplace book, except it's plugged into your assistant. A quick capture for you; lasting knowledge for the both of you.
How it works
- Capture anything. Tap “Capture anything,” type what you learned, and (if you like) note where it came from — a book, a podcast, a person — plus a tag or two.
- Miles remembers it. Every note you save becomes part of Miles's knowledge of your business. Later, when it's relevant, he can recall it in a chat without you digging for it.
- Find it fast. Search your notes or tap a #tag to filter. Each note shows its source and when you captured it.
- Miles writes here too. When Miles jots something worth keeping, it shows up in your Notebook in the same simple format — so it's a shared notebook, not a one-way inbox.
What it helps you do
- Never lose a good idea — catch it in ten seconds before it's gone.
- Make what you learn useful, because Miles can act on it later instead of it gathering dust.
- Keep your sources, so you remember not just the tip but where it came from.
- Build a personal knowledge base you and Miles both draw on.
Questions business owners ask
How is Notebook different from Miles Memory? They're the same brain, seen two ways. Notebook is the friendly capture surface for things *you* jot down; Miles Memory is the full behind-the-scenes view of everything Miles knows, with folders and import tools. Your Notebook notes live inside that same memory.
Do I need to connect anything or pay extra? No. Notebook works out of the box, no connection and no added cost.
Can my team see or edit my notes? On a team, members can view the Notebook, but only the owner can capture, edit, or delete entries — so your knowledge base stays yours to curate.
Do I have to tag and organize everything? No. Tags and sources are optional — they just make things easier to find later. A bare note is fine; Miles can still use it.
Will Miles really bring my notes back up? Yes — that's the point. Because your notes are part of his memory, he can reference them in a relevant conversation without you having to remind him they exist.
