Privacy policy

Bizer ("Bizer", "we", "us") provides a small-business operating app with an AI assistant ("Miles"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email kelsi@gobizer.com.

Information we collect

Account information — your name, email, and basic profile from the Google or Apple account you sign in with, plus the business details you enter. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive Apple's private relay address and never see your real one.
Content you create in Bizer — tasks, notes, plans, files, contacts, and your conversations with Miles.
Data from services you connect — when you connect an integration, we access only the data needed for the features you turn on:
Google Workspace — Gmail (read and, with your approval, send), Google Calendar, Google Contacts (read), and Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets (read).
Google Analytics — read-only reporting on *your* website's traffic, if you connect your own property. This is separate from the analytics we run on Bizer itself, described under "Usage and device data" below.
Google Ads — read-only reporting on your campaigns and performance.
Other connectors — e.g. Stripe, QuickBooks, Plaid, Square, Shopify, PayPal, FreshBooks, Twilio, and similar, when you connect them.
Usage and device data — basic logs and diagnostics needed to run and secure the service, plus product analytics. We use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand which screens and features are used, which records page views, a small set of events (such as signing up or connecting a tool), an analytics device identifier, and your Bizer account ID. If we record sessions to find bugs, every piece of text and every form field on screen is masked, so your chats, customers and finances are never captured. We do not use it for advertising, we do not link it to data from other companies, and we do not share it with data brokers — so we do not track you across other apps or websites.

How we use your information

To provide the product and the features you enable, including letting Miles read your connected data to answer questions and prepare actions on your behalf.
Actions that send or change something (for example, sending an email or a text) require your explicit in-app approval before they run.
To secure, maintain, debug, and improve the service.

AI processing

Miles is powered by Google's Gemini API. Your content and connected data may be sent to that API to generate responses for you. Data obtained through Google Workspace APIs is used only to provide and improve user-facing features within Bizer; it is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.

Bank connections (Plaid)

If you connect a bank account, we use Plaid Inc. to securely link it. You enter your bank credentials directly with Plaid or your bank — Bizer never sees or stores them. With your consent, Plaid provides us account and transaction information (such as balances, account names, and transaction history), which we use only to power the Money features you turn on. The access token Plaid issues is encrypted at rest, and disconnecting the connection deletes it and revokes our access. How we store and protect your information

Integration credentials (OAuth refresh/access tokens) are encrypted at rest and stored only on our servers. They are never exposed to your browser, and they are deleted when you disconnect the integration.
Your data is stored using Google Cloud / Firebase. We restrict access and apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run Bizer, under contract and only as needed — for example: Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting and database), the Google Gemini API (AI processing), Google Analytics and PostHog (product usage), Stripe (payments), Plaid (bank connections), Pipedream (connector authorization broker), and Twilio (messaging you send). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Limited Use of Google user data

Bizer's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy

Your consent

When you create an account you affirmatively agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, which is your consent to our collection, processing, and storage of your information as described here. Connecting any integration is a separate, explicit choice you make, and you can withdraw it at any time by disconnecting.

Your choices and data retention

Disconnect anytime — disconnecting an integration on the Connections screen revokes our access and deletes the stored credentials for it.
Export or delete your data — use Settings → Your data in the app to export a copy or request deletion of your account and associated data.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.

Children

Bizer is for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
