Mascot Chat: a page where customers talk with your mascot

Give your mascot a page. Customers scan a QR code or open a link and chat with your agent, in character, with no account, and hear about what you offer.

Mascot Chat is a page where your customers talk with your mascot. They scan a QR code or tap a link and they're chatting a second later, with no account and nothing to download.

Who's talking

Your mascot is your agent: its name, picture and personality come from Settings, My Agent, the same ones your agent uses everywhere else you talk to customers. Write the personality the way the character talks, up to 4,000 characters, and the chat speaks that way.

Your agent answers from what's public: your Bizer Profile and your own website, never your private records. So the page needs your claimed Bizer Profile before you can share it.

Set it up

Get Mascot Chat from the App Market, then open it from My Apps and tap Edit. The form has:

  • Picture. Your mascot's picture, at the top of the page.
  • Headline and intro. What the page says above the chat, for example

"Talk to our mascot".

  • What this chat is for. Your goal for each conversation, in your own

words, for example "Have fun, and when it fits, tell people about our membership." Your agent works toward it.

  • First line. What your mascot says before anyone types.
  • Offers. Up to eight things your mascot may recommend: a membership, a

delivery subscription, a text club. Give each a title, one line on what it is, and a link to your own page. Your agent decides when one fits the conversation and shows it as a card with a button. It never makes up a link: the button always opens the page you typed.

The preview under the form is the real chat. Talk to it yourself before you share it. Nothing you say there is saved.

Share it

In My Apps, tap Customers on Mascot Chat. You get:

  • its address on bizer.app, to put anywhere you'd put a link;
  • the code to put it on your own website;
  • its QR code, to print on a sign, a menu, a flyer or a truck.

When customers chat

  • Every conversation lands in Bizer Chat, as that customer's own thread

with your business.

  • Your team can step in. When someone on your team answers there, the

customer sees it in the chat and your agent steps back.

  • A long conversation hands off. After 40 answers in one conversation, your

agent stops and leaves the rest to your team.

Your mascot can recommend an offer, but signing up happens on your own page: the chat doesn't take payments or sign anyone up itself.
