Roadmap: a public roadmap your customers vote on

Show customers what you're building, let them vote for what matters most, and collect their ideas, all on one page you share.

Roadmap is a page you share with your customers. It shows what you're working on, what's planned and what has shipped, and your customers vote for the items that matter most to them. They can suggest new ideas on the same page.

What your customers see

  • In progress, Planned and Shipped, each list ranked by votes, most first.
  • A vote on every item. Tapping it votes the item up; tapping again takes

the vote back. Each person gets one vote per item.

  • Suggest an idea, a short form: the idea, and a line on what it would help

them do.

Anyone can read the page. Voting and suggesting ideas need a free Bizer account, so one vote really is one person. Someone who isn't signed in is asked to sign in, and comes back to the same page.

What you see

Open Roadmap from My Apps and go to Manage:

  • New ideas are what customers sent. Each one also lands in **Bizer

Chat**, as that customer's own thread with your business, so you can thank them or ask a question.

  • Plan it moves an idea onto your roadmap. Decline sets it aside, and

Delete removes it.

  • Start, Shipped, Reopen and Back to planned move an item

between lists as your work goes.

  • Add an item puts something on the roadmap yourself. Pick its status, or

leave it as a new idea to decide later.

Nothing a customer sends is public until you give it a status. New and declined ideas stay with you: they are never sent to the shared page, so no visitor can read them.

You see each item's vote count. Bizer counts the votes, and nobody, your business included, sees a list of who voted for what.

Share it

In My Apps, tap Customers on Roadmap. You get:

  • its address on bizer.app, to put anywhere you'd put a link;
  • the code to put it on your own website;
  • its QR code, for a sign, a receipt or a flyer.

What it costs

Roadmap is free. It makes no outside calls, so it doesn't draw on your plan.
