Miles usage limits

What happens when you reach your monthly or daily allowance, and how to keep going.

Miles runs on a monthly and daily allowance based on your plan. If you reach a limit, Miles shows a friendly notice and offers credit top-ups, so you're never hard-stopped in the middle of a task.

How the allowance works

Your monthly fee is a work budget. Miles's work draws against it as he does things for you. If you use more than it covers, the overflow draws your pre-paid wallet, and top-ups roll over. Without a plan you run wallet-only and stop at $0.

See Plans: Solo and Business and How Miles's work draws on your budget.

If you hit a limit

  • Buy a one-time top-up from the card Miles shows in chat. It rolls over.
  • Upgrade your plan for a larger monthly allowance, from

Settings → Manage account.

> Heavy days happen — a big import, a research push, a long voice call. The daily > allowance is there so one runaway afternoon doesn't spend the month.
