A reusable library of what you sell, so you stop retyping line items.
From Money → Catalog. Build a reusable library of what you sell:
- Name
- Type — product or service
- Unit price
- Description
- Taxable
- Active
Then drop them into an invoice with + From catalog instead of retyping.
Two behaviours worth knowing
- Inactive items stay in your history but hide from the picker. Retiring a
service doesn't rewrite the invoices that used it.
- Price changes don't alter past invoices. Raising your rate today doesn't
quietly restate what you charged last year.
