Web Search: how it works
Every question runs two searches at once, the live web and your own business, and you get one answer with the web sources you can check.
Web Search is its own app. Open it at bizer.app/search, or just ask Miles a question in chat. Both run the same way.
Two searches, one answer
Every question runs two searches at the same time:
- The live web, for the rules, prices and news that change.
- Your own business: your profile and the notes Miles keeps in
Miles writes one answer from both. The web alone doesn't know your dates, your vendors or what you already bought. Your own records alone don't know what changed this year. Together they answer the real question.
Two lists of sources, never mixed
- References are the web pages the answer used. Each one is numbered and
opens in a tap, so anyone can check it. The [1], [2] in the answer point at them.
- Your own facts are shown apart, under What I remembered on the search
page. They're your private notes, never listed as a web source. Tap Open & edit to fix one, and the next answer changes.
Keeping them apart means an answer you forward never carries your private details in its sources.
Searching at bizer.app/search
- No account needed. Signed out, it's a search engine for business
questions, and it can suggest businesses listed on Bizer.
- Signed in, pick For my business to have the answer use your business
and your memory, or General for the answer anyone would get.
- Set your location with the pin under the box, so "near me" means where
you are. It's guessed from your connection until you change it, and it's kept on this device only.
- Recent searches are kept on this device only, in the list on the side.
- Tabs over the answer show more from the same search: Search (the web
references), Shop, Businesses and Videos.
Reading a web page
Share a link with Miles in chat and he reads the page himself, rather than asking you what's on it. He also follows a promising search result when he needs more detail.
What it costs
Web Search is free on every plan, and it never draws on your plan's budget. On the free plan, chat with Miles still has a monthly limit. See Miles usage limits.
