Track operational metrics (throughput, on-time rate, defect rate)
You can't improve what you don't measure. Monitoring operational metrics — jobs completed, on-time rate, rework — shows where the work is strong and where it's leaking time and money.
Do this
- Pick a few operational metrics that reflect your delivery.
- Track them consistently, ideally in Bizer.
- Compare to targets and watch the trend.
- Use them to decide where to improve next.
Operational Metrics Checklist
- Jobs completed per week
- On-time completion rate
- Rework / callback rate
- Average time per job vs. estimate
- Capacity used vs. available
