Make selling a habit, not a scramble

The reason so many solos ride a feast-or-famine rollercoaster isn't skill — it's that they only sell when work gets slow. By then it's already too late. The fix is boring and powerful: a small, standing block of selling time every week, busy or not. Steady beats heroic, every time.

Do this

  1. Block one recurring time each week for selling — follow-ups, outreach, asking for referrals.
  2. Protect it like a paying appointment. It is one — it's your next paying job.
  3. Keep it small enough that you'll actually do it. Thirty focused minutes beats a 'someday' marathon.
  4. Do it even in your busy weeks. The pipeline you fill now is the work you'll have next month.

Your weekly 30-minute sales block

  • Open your Pipeline and clear every follow-up that's due
  • Reach out to 2–3 new leads or past 'not now' contacts
  • Ask one happy customer for a referral or a review
  • Add any new leads from the week so nothing slips
  • Set the next step + date on every open deal before you close
