What this skill does
For the person whose job is managing people — an HR rep, a front-line manager, or an owner wearing the HR hat. Their pain, in their words: *"staying organized and not losing track of things with people."* This skill is the memory and the follow-up clock, built around one habit: the moment something comes up with an employee, it gets logged.
- Capture the moment it comes up — a raise ask, a time-off request, a
termination or resignation, an injury / return-to-work, a new hire. Miles logs it (with the person, and for a raise the current → requested pay) so it can't get forgotten between the hallway and the paperwork.
- Tracks your real process — approvals happen *in person*, so Miles
tracks the stage: discussing → approved/denied → out for signature → completed — not an email approval chain.
- Follow-ups surface on time — ask *"what am I waiting on / who do I need
to follow up with?"* any time; the soonest follow-up comes first. Bigger reminders also land on your Get Work Done Waiting list.
- Make it official — once approved, Miles drafts the document (offer /
raise letter, separation notice, time-off confirmation) into Files, and — when DocuSign is connected — sends it for signature with one tap and tracks it to completed.
Works on Microsoft for email (Outlook), since most of this crowd isn't on Google. Sending a document for signature is tap-approved, like every other outbound action in Bizer.
Requires
Nothing to start — the tracker works on its own. Connect Microsoft 365 for email context and DocuSign to send documents for signature.
