Waiting On
Track everything the owner is waiting on other people for — quotes, decisions, payments, signatures — by linking sent email asks to Waiting tasks, detecting replies, and chasing silence with a friendly follow-up. Use when the owner sends an email that asks for something, asks who's ignoring them or what they're waiting on, or wants follow-ups handled.
Open SKILL.md skill — use it with any AI agent. Recommended with Miles, the Bizer agent, which runs it out of the box.
How it works
What this skill does
Half of running a business is waiting on other people — the quote answer, the signed contract, the payment, the "yes, Tuesday works." GTD calls it the *Waiting For* list, and almost nobody keeps it, because it's pure bookkeeping. Miles keeps it for you:
- Every ask gets tracked — when an email Miles sends for you asks
someone for something, he quietly files it under Waiting in Get Work Done, linked to the actual email thread.
- Replies un-wait you — Miles watches the thread. The moment they
answer, the task jumps back to your Inbox and a 📬 card lands in your Stream: "Sandra replied — you're unblocked." Tap it and deal with it.
- Silence gets chased — around four quiet days, a card arrives with a
friendly follow-up already written. Send it with one tap, dismiss it, or open it with Miles to tweak the wording first.
- "Who's ignoring me?" — ask any time. Miles reads your Waiting list
(with days-waiting right on each task) and can sweep your sent mail for unanswered asks you never tracked, so the list is honest from day one.
- Your Gmail shows it too — watched threads carry a *"Waiting on"*
label right in Gmail, added while you wait and removed the moment they reply. Your inbox and your Waiting list tell the same story.
Nothing sends without your tap — the follow-up card's Send button is the same approval you use everywhere else in Bizer.
