What is the VALO Framework?
The VALO Framework is the board: four pillars — Viability, Acquisition, Leadership, Operations — crossed with the four phases every business grows through, making 16 quadrants. The Framework tells you what to look at. Inside each quadrant sits the VALO Blueprint: a short checklist of concrete, provable steps that tells you what to do about it. Work the Blueprint and your VALO Score moves. You don't have to guess what a 'ready' business looks like — the board already names all sixteen things it depends on.
Do this
- Picture a 4×4 grid: four pillars (Viability, Acquisition, Leadership, Operations) crossed with four phases (Start, Build, Grow, Exit) — 16 quadrants in all. That grid is the Framework.
- Open a quadrant and you'll find the Blueprint for it — a short checklist like 'Open a business bank account'. Real actions, not theory.
- Check items off as you do them, or connect your tools so Bizer verifies them for you automatically.
- Watch each quadrant fill toward its 25 points — all 16 together are what carry your VALO Score from 100 to 500.
The Framework at a Glance
The 16 quadrants — 4 pillars × 4 phases, 25 points each:
START BUILD GROW EXIT VIABILITY [ 25 ] [ 25 ] [ 25 ] [ 25 ] ACQUISITION [ 25 ] [ 25 ] [ 25 ] [ 25 ] LEADERSHIP [ 25 ] [ 25 ] [ 25 ] [ 25 ] OPERATIONS [ 25 ] [ 25 ] [ 25 ] [ 25 ]
The Framework is the board — what to look at. The Blueprint is each quadrant's checklist — what to do about it. The VALO Score is what the two produce together.
Each phase band (4 quadrants) = 100 points. Floor of 100 + four bands of 100 = the 100–500 VALO Score.
