The four phases: Start, Build, Grow, Exit

The phases are the stages every business moves through, in order. Start is the foundation every business needs first; Build puts real systems in place; Grow scales up with metrics and a team; Exit makes the business run — and sell — without you. Phases are gated: a phase only banks its points once the phase below it is complete across all four pillars, so a strong pillar can never skip a stage.

Do this

1. Find your current phase on the Score screen — it's the stage your business is filling in right now.
2. Finish Start before chasing Grow: the gate means later phases stay locked until every pillar clears the earlier ones.
3. Read your score as a phase: 100–199 means you're working through Start, 200+ Build, 300+ Grow, 400+ Exit.
4. Keep recurring habits fresh — items like a monthly finance review can fade if you stop doing them, reopening their quadrant.

The Score Ladder

Every phase you complete banks 100 points:

100 Every registered business starts here (nothing proven yet) 200 START complete — the universal, lender-ready fundamentals 300 BUILD complete — real systems run the day-to-day 400 GROW complete — scaling with metrics, systems, and a team 500 EXIT — the business runs (and could sell) without you

The gate: a phase's 100 points only bank once the phase below it is 100% complete across ALL four pillars. One strong pillar can't drag the score past a stage the others haven't finished.
