Register with SAM.gov so you can apply for federal grants

Federal grants are real money for small businesses — but you can't apply for a single one without being registered in SAM.gov. It's free, it's a one-time setup, and it opens the door to grants and federal contracts.

Do this

1. Create a free Login.gov account — the secure sign-in for SAM.gov.
2. Request your Unique Entity ID (UEI) at SAM.gov; use your legal name and address exactly as on your IRS/EIN letter.
3. Complete the free entity registration with your EIN, a business bank account, and your NAICS code(s).
4. Confirm your registration shows "Active" — it can take 1-2 weeks to validate.

Registering in SAM.gov is always FREE. Never pay a third party to do it for you.

The steps: 1. Login.gov account → https://login.gov 2. Get your UEI → https://sam.gov 3. Finish entity registration (EIN + bank + NAICS) 4. Wait for "Active" (1-2 weeks)
