Write a definition of what you deliver (scope statement)

Before you can deliver consistently, you have to be crystal clear on what you're actually delivering. A defined product or service sets expectations for you and the customer and stops scope creep.

Do this

  1. Write down exactly what's included in your core offer — and what's not.
  2. Define what 'done' looks like for a typical job.
  3. Put it in plain terms a customer would understand before they buy.
  4. Use that definition in your quotes so everyone agrees up front.

Define Your Offer

Answer these in a few lines each:

WHAT the customer gets (the deliverable): WHAT'S INCLUDED: WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED (so there are no surprises): WHAT "DONE" LOOKS LIKE:

Put this on your quotes — clarity up front prevents disputes later.
