Write a one-line value proposition
If a stranger can't understand what you offer in one sentence, you'll lose them. A clear, plain explanation of your product or service is the foundation of every ad, post, and conversation.
Do this
- Finish this sentence: 'I help [who] do [what] so they can [result].'
- Cut the jargon — say it like you'd explain it to a neighbor.
- Test it on someone outside your business; if they get it, it works.
- Put that line on your website, profiles, and use it when people ask what you do.
Your One-Sentence Pitch
Template: "I help [who] [do what] so they can [result/benefit]."
Examples: "I help busy homeowners keep their lawns sharp so they can enjoy their weekends." "We help local restaurants fix their bookkeeping so they always know what they're making."
Write yours, read it aloud, and trim every word that isn't needed.
