Request Google Reviews
Trust and reviews · Trust and social proof · About 30 minutes to set up, then a minute per customer · 2 weeks, then ongoing · Budget $25 · By Bizer
Most happy customers will leave a review if you ask clearly, at the right moment, and make it easy. This campaign builds that ask so it happens every time, not only when you remember.
The objective
Earn more genuine reviews by asking every eligible customer the same fair way.
When this campaign fits
You serve customers and have a legitimate chance to ask them for a review, but you do not ask regularly.
What you will need
- Your Google review link (from your Google Business Profile)
- How you usually reach customers after a job: email, text or in person
What Bizer prepares
- Neutral review request messages for email and text
- Instructions for finding and sharing your review link
- A printable QR card for the counter, truck or invoice
- A simple follow-up schedule
What you do
- Send the request to every eligible customer, not only the happiest ones
- Never offer anything in exchange for a review
What you get
A review outreach campaign, prepared and ready to send, or sent.
Step by step
- Step 1: Bizer drafts a short review request for email and one for text.
- Step 2: Bizer prepares a QR card that opens your review page.
- Step 3: You approve the wording and print the card.
- Step 4: You send the request after each job or purchase, to every customer.
- Step 5: One polite follow-up a few days later, then stop.
Where the money goes
- Printing the QR cards (making it): $25
The only cost is printing, if you want cards.
How you will know it worked
Work completed
- Review requests sent: Every eligible customer
Campaign response
- New reviews: Genuine reviews received
- Response rate: Reviews divided by requests
Business outcome
- Customers who chose you because of reviews: Ask new customers how they decided
A finished campaign is not a guaranteed result. Each measure is tracked on its own.
What it needs connected
- Google Business Profile (for your review link)
- Email or text (Google or Microsoft email works)
Ask everyone, the same way
Google's rules, and basic fairness, say two things clearly. Do not offer anything in exchange for a review, not a discount, not an entry into a drawing. And do not ask only the customers you expect to be happy. Screening customers first and sending only the satisfied ones to Google is called review gating, and it can get reviews removed.
The simple fix is a habit: ask every customer, in the same neutral words, every time.
When to ask
The best moment is right after the customer has felt the value: the job is finished, the order arrived, the appointment went well. Within a day is ideal. A week later, most people have moved on.
Make it one tap
The request should have exactly one link, straight to your review form. Bizer shows you where to find that link in your Google Business Profile. A QR card does the same thing in person: on the counter, on the invoice, on the truck.
Follow up once
A single reminder a few days later catches the people who meant to and forgot. More than one starts to feel like pressure, so stop there.
Reading the results
Count requests sent and reviews received. A response rate in the low double digits is common; if yours is much lower, try asking sooner or making the message shorter. Reply to reviews, good and bad, politely and without sharing private details. More reviews build trust over time; no campaign can guarantee how many arrive.
