The list that collects what everyone owes you
Half of running a business is waiting on other people — the quote answer, the signed contract, the payment. GTD calls it the Waiting For list, and nobody keeps it because it's pure bookkeeping. Miles keeps it now: every emailed ask gets tracked, every reply gets caught, and silence gets a friendly follow-up you send with one tap from your Stream.
Do this
- It starts automatically: when an email Miles sends for you asks someone for something, he files it under Waiting in Get Work Done — linked to the real email thread, with days-waiting counting on the task.
- Replies come to you: the moment they answer, the task jumps back to your Inbox and a 📬 card lands in your Stream — "Sandra replied, you're unblocked." Tap it and handle the next step with Miles.
- Silence gets chased: after about four quiet days, a card arrives with a follow-up already written — warm, short, zero guilt. Send it with one tap, snooze it with "Not now," or tap "Edit with Miles" to tweak the wording.
- Backfill day one: ask "who's ignoring me?" — Miles sweeps your sent mail for unanswered asks you never tracked and offers to add the real ones, so the list is honest immediately.
- Make it part of your week: in your GTD weekly review, walk the Waiting list oldest-first with Miles. Every item gets a decision — still waiting, nudge now, or let it go gracefully.
- Nothing sends itself: the Send button on a follow-up card is the same tap-approval as everything else in Bizer.
Prompts to steal
Who's ignoring me? What am I waiting on right now? Track the reply to that quote I just sent. They haven't answered in a week — nudge them, nicely. Walk my Waiting list with me — oldest first.
