Inbox zero in ten minutes a day — Miles runs the triage

You don't need to process forty emails — you need the four that matter and a drafted reply for each. Miles sweeps your unread mail, buckets it (reply / task / FYI / noise), writes the replies in your voice, and queues each one for your tap.

Do this

  1. Say: "Catch me up on my inbox." Miles sweeps recent unread mail and skips the promotions pile.
  2. Read his buckets: needs-a-reply first (leads on top — speed on a lead is money), then tasks, then FYIs, then a one-line count of the noise.
  3. Say "reply to all of them" or pick: "answer Sandra — yes to Thursday, and ask for the deposit." He drafts each reply threaded into the original conversation.
  4. Tap-approve the replies you like; edit or decline the rest. Nothing sends without you.
  5. Let him file the leftovers: action items become dated tasks, a new customer becomes a People record.
  6. When it works, make it a habit: "Do this every weekday at 8am" — Miles sets the recurring check-in.

Prompts to steal

Catch me up on my inbox. Anything from customers I haven't answered? Find every email about invoices from the last 30 days. Reply to Sandra: yes to Thursday, and ask her to send the deposit first. Any email with an attachment from my accountant this month? Do this triage every weekday at 8am.
